HELLO 2018! I’m so excited to begin this year feeling renewed. 2017 was a year full of lessons and discoveries. Ups and many downs that have brought out the best in me. I know the downs were tough but now that I’m passed them I’ve come to realize how much nonsense they washed away and for that I’m very grateful!
The most talked about subject this time a year is New Year’s Resolutions for obvious reasons, which by the way, I’ve never done before. Reading about everyone’s different goals got me thinking what would I set as my New Year resolution. Long story short, it came down to ONE thing: Patience.
So much of life is a waiting game, wouldn’t you agree? Truth is, most of us see it as a downside. I know I have. So while reflecting on this, I decided I wanted to change my mindset this year. Instead of looking at it from a negative perspective I will now see it as a blessing. Waiting gives us power! Power to be in charge, to be prepared, to be ready! I think it’s funny, or should I say ironic, how we rush life, we want it all fast and easy but when the moment to make a desicion actually shows up we always say “we need time”. So getting back to my point, there is power on being still and taking your time. On whatever that may be.
No great project was developed overnight. Everything good takes time and patience will help you get there. So this year I’m all about listening to my heart without rushing to things. Time to observe, appreciate and live in the moment.
Do you have any resolutions this year? If so, I’d love to know! Comment below.

Last year my word was Strength. I’m still working on that one. Just started working out everyday and i threw out my back/rib/what’s going on?! I’ve decided to take it slow and not stress. But this year- it’s Routine. For me and Oli. Hopefully sticking to one will enhance our natural talents and moods.
So glad you’re doing this! Love reading your blog posts.
