WEDDING SEASON HAS BEGUN

Hi guys! I’m back in  LA and ready to rumble!

If you follow me on Instagram you already know that Jeff and I escaped to Mexico this past weekend for Laura and Tomas’ wedding! It was such a great time reuniting with lifetime friends from all over: Spain, US, Mexico, etc. It was special to see Jeff bond with everyone and finally put faces to the names. I no longer have to mention each friend’s specifications every  time I talk about them. haha!

We flew into Mexico City and then drove one hour towards Cuernavaca, where we stayed at the beautiful Hacienda San Antonio El Puente. Such a peaceful location to do nothing other than relax and drink margaritas while stuffing our faces with tacos and guac. “When In Mexico”, right?

THE PROPERTY

We decided to not work out during this trip and save our energy for the dance floor, so each morning we’d wake up and walk the entire property. It was beautiful to just take our time and appreciate every single detail.

 

WHAT I WORE

It was super hot and humid so I kept it simple and light weight. Starting with this off-the-shoulder beauty by Bohemian Traders, so cute for any getaway trip, just add your favorite jean shorts (mine here) and you’re all set! On the second day there I wore this romper by Shop RAGA which kept me super fresh and comfy from day to night. Lastly, (seems like I had a theme) I wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder midi dress by DEREK LAM (similar here) and paired it with Pour La Victoire heels – obsessed with the “wrap around” look!

WEDDING ATTIRE

So in love with this red gown I wore for the wedding, as you may already know, I’m absolutely love Fame & Partners! The fact that you can design your own gown and adjust it perfectly to your size needs makes such a difference! I definitely found the “emoji” dress!! So comfortable and I was able to dance in it ALL NIGHT LONG! I selected this dress from their Evening Shop my go-to for any special occasion.
